Physical Activity Linked to Lower Risk of Dementia, Sleep Disorders, Other Diseases
A new study finds that moderate to vigorous physical activity reduces the risk of dementia, sleep disorders, stroke, anxiety, and depression. Researchers analyzed data from 73,411 adults using accelerometers, showing that more movement and less sitting improve brain health. Findings will be presented at the AAN 2025 Annual Meeting.
